Our story
It all began in 2018 when Heidi Dutton, a spirited agriculture entrepreneur with roots deeply intertwined with the Saskatchewan soil, decided to embark on a journey that would blend tradition with modernity. Heidi’s vision was to harness the power of pulse crops, a staple of Saskatchewan agriculture, and transform them into wholesome, nutritious food ingredients. Growing up on a farm in Saskatchewan, Heidi understood the intricacies of the land and the potential it held. With a passion for both farming and food, she saw an opportunity to create something truly special.
Relentless Dedication
The first step was the establishment of a pulse fractionation plant in the heart of Saskatchewan, where they carefully processed locally grown pulses into high-quality ingredients. With a relentless dedication to innovation, Lovingly Made quickly gained recognition for its exceptional products.
Seizing Opportunity...
In 2023, seizing an opportunity to expand their capabilities, Lovingly Made acquired an extrusion facility in Calgary, Alberta, further enhancing their ability to create an array of wholesome foods. This acquisition marked a pivotal moment in the company’s journey, propelling them toward greater heights of innovation and efficiency.
